Each year the Middle School celebrates ethnic heritage through
International Day. Students and faculty are encouraged to dress in ethnic
attire, bring food, make posters, and share ethnic culture in order to recognize
their unique ethnic backgrounds. This year the Middle School had 22 different
nations of origin represented in our student body.
Ms. Michel-Jones and Dr. O'Neil show off their
moves with a celtic dance that is popular among young generations in
Brittany (a peninsula in the north west of France), where Ms. Michel-Jones
was raised.
Ms. Michel-Jones and Mr. Curry along with other
students dance the Paso Doble. Paso Doble means "two
step" in Spanish. This ballroom dance is a lively Spanish
style of dance that is based on music played at bullfights.
