The Science Olympiad team competed against 26 other teams at an invitational in Clearview, OH on January 19th and placed 3rd.  Ajay Kanak '10 & Christine Currie '08 competed in an event called "Sounds of Music."  For this event, the students built a cigar box guitar and copper pipe chimes, played "God Bless America," and had to answer a series of questions about the physics of sound.  The team also had several first place finishes, including Jay Parepally '08 and Varun Reddy '08 in the Health Science category and Laura Bagamery '08 and George Domat '10 in the Rocks and Minerals category.
