On Sunday, December 9, 2007, the German Club held a movie night at Peter Sinnott's house. The first activity was decorating gingerbread houses. Then the group feasted on Kartoffelpuffer, Bratwurst, Black Forest cupcakes and Spaghettieis, which is ice cream squeezed through a press to resemble spaghetti. Toppings then include strawberry sauce and coconut flakes, to look like spaghetti sauce and parmesan cheese. The food was a big hit. Then the group relaxed while watching “What to do in case of fire”, a German action film about former anarchists in Berlin who have to band together again to solve a new problem and reconcile their past and current lives. The evening was lots of fun, and the group wants to do another movie night soon!
