On Saturday, January 26, 2008, Kelly Lyons, Program
Director for Architecture Explorations, conducted a special workshop
for the Middle School Science Olympiad team. Mrs. Lyons introduced
the team to some of the concepts behind the construction of towers.
Attached are pictures of the team members who were
involved with the program. The participants were Chris and Maggie
Leech, Teddy Holthaus, Paul Steenkiste, Oliver Ebeling-Koning,
Mary McLaughlin, Francesca Bermudez, Shivum Bharill, Rohit Joshi,
Fuad Ibrahim, Alec Brown, David Franklin, dani Plung and Tara
Lee.
Mrs. Lyons will return in February to conduct another
workshop and to see the improvement the team members have made
since her first visit. |
